Biodiversity Officer, Emma Denton (Fermanagh & Omagh District Council) visited the Junior Site today to help our team of Eco Warriors plant a range of vegetables in our Polytunnel. 🥦🥕🥬 The children closely observed the different colours, sizes and shapes of the seeds and learned how to plant them in the soil at the correct depth to encourage growth! The children carefully planted peas, radishes, cabbages, carrots, spinach, broccoli and lettuce! Our Eco Team will look after the seeds in the coming weeks and monitor their growth! 🤞 Hopefully we will have a plentiful harvest in a few months time! 🥦🥬🥕 Many thanks to Emma for all the helpful advice! 🌱
