The Yr3 students had a fantastic time creating 2D shapes using geoboards and elastic bands. This hands on activity allowed them to explore and reinforce their understanding of 2D shapes. After creating the 2D shapes the boys and girls explored some of the properties of each shape (Corners, sides etc).
The activity also encouraged teamwork and problem solving!
