Our theme this term in Year 1 is ‘Helping Hands’ and the children have been learning all about real life Superheroes in our community who help people every day. On Monday, we were so delighted to welcome Dr Ronan Harte to Year 1! (Robyn’s Daddy) He demonstrated all the special equipment in his doctors bag that he uses to help people when they are sick. The children were so keen to have a little turn using the equipment and finding out what each one is used for. There was lots of discussion about what we need to do to keep our bodies healthy 🍎 🚴 😴 We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Ronan for providing this wonderful, memorable learning experience for our pupils. 👏
