Friday 20th Sep 2024 marked the end of Good Relations Week 2024.
To celebrate our longstanding Shared Education Partnership with Omagh County Primary School and our new partnership with Arvalee School, our Key Stage 2 pupils took part in a marathon relay run in Arleston Park.
Each class from the 3 schools (P5-7) ran a leg of a marathon and so collectively we completed 26.2miles! Well done boys and girls - you were all fantastic!🙌
A huge thank you also to our sponsors: Steven Dowds from Spar (Anderson Gardens), Keith Dolan from Mace (Gortin Road) & Niall from Centra (Campsie) who kindly donated water and crisps for all the children involved.
Through our event, we were also able to donate money to two very worthwhile charities, The Saturday Club and the Make A Wish Foundation. Thank you to Margaret Wilkinson (The Saturday Club) and Bernie McCollum (Make a Wish) for joining us yesterday.
