The Year three’s have been super busy creating a ‘Safety Town’ as part of their World Around Us learning for our topic ‘Safe and Sound’ . The ‘Safety Town’ was created independently by the boys and girls using junk art materials. Building a safety town or a vehicle gave the children a hands-on experience in designing a community where safety is priority!🦺👷
Throughout this process, they developed key skills such as critical thinking, creativity, teamwork and planning. They also deepened their understanding of safety and how different services work together to protect and serve the community. A fun and educational way for our little ones to learn all about safety while developing a wide range of important life skills.
