The boys and girls had great fun today, celebrating World Maths Day, with lots of outdoor maths activities. Our Nursery children were focussing on the numbers 0-5. Lots of them loved writing their age. In Foundation Stage, Year 1 explored symmetry, with Year 2 also exploring symmetry and measuring. In Key Stage 1, Year 3 had a maths scavenger hunt, while Year 4 were creating numbers in nature, and making money amounts in the smallest coinage. Who knew that maths could be so much fun? We are lucky to have such wonderful mathematicians in Holy Family. 😁
