The Reception children welcomed some of their very important family members into our Kitchen this morning to make pancakes. Everyone got stuck into making their own batter, following the recipe and even adding their own little touches to make it taste delicious! They then watched for bubbles, flipped their pancakes and plated up.
They enjoyed topping their pancakes with lovely fruit and treats. Once they finished eating, some shared stories in our reading corner and coloured in together. Beautiful memories were made today and we are so grateful to share this experience with people that the children really treasure!
Our first stay and play session was a great success... our cups are well and truly full!
