As Winter is coming, the temperature is dropping. This can make it harder for plants and vegetables to grow. So our reception boys and girls we very busy digging and cleaning out our allotment in the Polytunnel.
They first searched through the soil to see what they could find, they also loosened the soil with trowels and watered the soil to finish.
The next day they had a fantastic sensory experience cutting up what they found. They washed and cut the vegetables outside. Some loved seeing the layers inside the onions and others loved the smell.
We can’t wait to plant new bulbs and seeds that will come up in the Spring.
