Reception have been very busy on happy hill this week. The children were delighted to see more blues skies and sunshine, doing lots of activities getting ready for Spring!
The children were using their strength and problem solving skills to push the sand into the sandpit independently.
They were germinating sweet pea flower seeds using damp tissues leaving them in sunlight over the weekend. We discussed how this can helping before putting seeds in the soil.
Finally we were getting our pots ready for planting with compost and poles. We hope to use these bamboo poles to create our own sweet pea teepee as they grow up the stalks.
What a hard working bunch we have! Can’t to watch this project grow over the season of Spring.
