As part of the children's Sacramental Preparation, the Year 4 children have been appointed a "Faith Friend," to help guide them on their spirital journey. Year 13 pupils from Loretto, who have taken part in the RE programme to enhance faith development, under the guidance of Mrs Turbitt and Miss Gorman, will will visit the children regularly and talk to them about their own experiences of making Sacraments. They also will have a little book to complete with the children to deepen thier understanding about some elements of First Holy Communion.
The children got to meet their faith Friends for the first time today - after writing to them in September and they were so excited to see them.
The children cant wait until they see their new friends again.
