This week our Year 1 classes have been exploring the story of The Three Little Pigs.🐷🐷🐷 They all had the opportunity to become busy engineers and builders as they took on the challenge to build houses for the Three Little Pigs, using a variety of materials. They explored different ways of joining the materials together to build structures that the Big Bad Wolf couldn’t blow down. They displayed a whole range of ideas and when their structures did not work out as planned, they tried to build them again in a different way! There was lots of trial and error involved! Super problem solving and teamwork! Many thanks to Roy from Sentinus for facilitating this wonderful STEM activity for our children! 👏👏👏
